Will there be medical staff on site?
Yes! We have multiple nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, and paraprofessionals on our camp staff
How are your camp staff and volunteers trained?
• All Volunteers will attend a 2-hour professional training session on the needs of the community they will be serving.
• All volunteers 18+ are required to complete a background check
• All camp staff are required to follow FCA’s procedures for volunteer onboarding
Are there opportunities for parents during the day of camp?
Yes! Parents/Guardians/Advocates will have the option to stay and enjoy the day with us or drop off and enjoy a day to themselves. There will be a room provided for those who would like to remain on site but “off duty.”
